OUR STORY
3rd Generation Family-Owned Business
Roxbrook Farm is a multi-generational family farm. Three generations of the Weed family are dedicated and hardworking farmers. Ben's grandfather, Wilbur Weed, farmed their land at Elm Spring Farm in Beacon Falls, CT. Ben's father, Bill, began raising dairy heifers while he attended Nonnewaug High School. Later, Bill and Ben's mother, Bonnie, began farming in Roxbury, where Roxbrook Farm was established in 1978. Beginning in 1992, Roxbrook Farm picked up and moved to the Nature Conservancy's Sunny Valley Preserve where it is located today. Bill and Ben, together, work hard keeping the farm running smoothly.
Being a 3rd generation farmer, Ben is always looking to add new and innovative ideas to add to the farm's success, positively adding new factors to prior knowledge.
